Firmware Upgrade

Visit the release page to download the latest firmware (BIN file) and view the version changelog.

Upgrade Steps

Preparation

  • Download the latest firmware BIN file
  • Prepare a USB Type-C data cable
  • No need to connect 12V power

Enter Upgrade Mode

  1. Make sure the tool is powered off (power switch off)
  2. Press and hold the Back button
  3. While holding the button, connect the tool to your computer via the Type-C cable
  4. The indicator LED will blink red (fail) and green (success) alternately — this confirms the tool is in upgrade mode

Flash Firmware

  1. A virtual disk drive will appear on your computer
  2. The disk contains a FIRMWARE.txt file (upgrade identifier)
  3. Drag and drop the downloaded .bin firmware file into the virtual disk
  4. After two screen flashes, a UPDATING.txt file will appear — firmware is being written

Complete

  1. Wait approximately 10~15 seconds
  2. The tool will reboot automatically — upgrade is complete

Precautions

  • Only drag official .bin firmware files into the virtual disk — do not place other files, as this may cause the system to hang
  • Do not disconnect the USB cable during the upgrade process
  • If the upgrade fails, reconnect USB and try again
  • If the virtual disk does not appear, verify that your USB cable supports data transfer (not a charge-only cable)
